Anti-Sulfotyrosine Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant antibody made from CHO cells. This is a great antibody to use to see if your protein of interest has this post-translational modification in physiological conditions.
Isotype
Human IgG1 heavy chain and kappa light chain.
Specificity
This product recognizes sulfated tyrosine residues on various proteins. It does not recognize phosphotyrosine or unmodified tyrosines. This product is predicted to recognize any sulfotyrosine, regardless of surrounding amino acid sequence.
Background
Tyrosine sulfation is important in protein-protein interactions during cellular adhesion, leukocyte movement and pathogen invasion functions of chemokine receptors, and ligand binding to G-protein coupled receptors by different signaling molecules.
