DESCRIPTION
High protein yield feed HF511 is a liquid nutrient supplement. It is an animal-origin free partial feed formulation for CHO cells. When combined with HF502 (Catalog Number C1604) it provides up to 10 fold improvement in titers of feed batch versus batch culture.
RECOMMENDATION OF FEEDING
During a typical fed-batch protein production, four doses of feeds are required: the first feed is on day 3 post-seeding followed with 3 additional feeds every 2 days with 0.2% HF502 (v/v) + 2.5% HF511 (v/v). Glucose needs to be added when level of glucose is low. Temperature shift may be applied.
