APC-Conjugated Anti-M13 Mouse IgG

APC (allophycocyanin) conjugated Anti-M13 mouse IgG is made using a new method of conjugation to allow high sensitivity and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The antibody is purified from BALB/c mouse ascites fluid, binds specifically to the bacteriophage M13 major coat protein product of gene VIII (gp8). This antibody is useful for the M13 phage display technique in selecting and detecting phages that display antibody fragments and peptides of interest on their surface. APC is a phycobiliprotein and makes it possible to use this secondary antibody in fluorescence-based assays (e.g. flow cytometry).

Recommended final concentration for FACS: 0.5-1 µg/mL. Can increase final concentration to 10µg/mL.
APC has excitation wavelengths at 594 and 633 nm, and emission peak at 660 nm.
STORAGE: 2-8ºC. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Conjugate is stable for a year.
