Protein G-Agarose is developed by conjugating genetically engineered Protein G to crosslinked Sepharose 4B and is used in affinity chromatography, protein chromatography, antibody purification and characterization, immunoaffinity matrices, protein A, G and L resins, and purification and detection.
It is provided as suspension in PBS containing 0.08% sodium azide, pH 7.5.
- Elution can generally be done with several column volumes of 200 mM acetic acid.
- After use, wash the gel with several column volumes of PBS.
- Resuspend gel in PBS containing 0.08% sodium azide for storage.
Store at 2°- 8ºC
